Silent Hill 2 remake will reportedly feature an origin story for Pyramid Head. The Silent Hill franchise has been on ice for about a full decade now, as there hasn't been a new game in the series since the Xbox 360/PS3 era. There would have been a new one for PS4 as Hideo Kojima was developing Silent Hills, but him and Konami had a falling out and the game was promptly canceled. Now, Konami is trying to revive the IP with multiple new games and a remake of the most beloved game in the series. While Silent Hill 2 is expected to have a fairly faithful recreation of its story, it will be modernized in many different ways.

One big change seems to be that Bloober Team is adding a backstory for Pyramid Head. The signature Silent Hill villain is a pretty mysterious one and a lot of fans would probably argue that is part of his appeal. Some of the best horror games and movies put their obscure their villains in mystery as it allows them to feel more scary. If you know too much about the monster/the killer/etc, it begins to demystify them and they lose the fear factor. Nevertheless, it seems like Bloober Team is going to try and reveal how Pyramid Head became what he is today. ResetEra user dpanim pointed out that Best Buy has a description that suggests Pyramid Head will get some kind of chapter or something that dives deep into his background.

Whether or not this will be good or bad remains to be seen. Some fans are skeptical of Bloober Team's ability to deliver on this remake as their work has been kind of hit or miss up to this point. Hopefully it all turns out well given Silent Hill 2 is one of the most respected horror games of all-time, but there's really no telling how fans will feel. We haven't heard a peep about the game since its reveal last October, but it's looking like it could release sometime in early 2024.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 players have figured out how to change the time of day in the game. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is one of the most beloved games of the year, but some fans are longing for more. For starters, fans are hoping for DLC. The story already had a lot packed into it and there is a lot of set up for a third game, but fans are hoping for something like a Daredevil DLC or something of the sorts. The first game had three pieces of DLC which were a bit mixed, but fans were happy to continue spending time in that world. Insomniac Games has yet to confirm or deny if it will be doing any DLC, but there are a lot of possible DLCs for some.

On top of that, fans are hoping to see some quality of life changes that add features like the ability to change the time of day. Since Marvel's Spider-Man 2 doesn't have a day/night cycle, the game is permanently stuck during the afternoon once you beat the game. The rest of the game has evening, night, rain storms at night, overcast weather, and more to give the game a variety of looks. This was perfect for photo mode lovers, but the endgame feels like it is permanently 2 PM. Well, some fans figured out how to glitch the game to turn it to night time. You can view the video below for a step by step of how to do it, but if you enter a Mysterio level while the game speed is turned down and then replay the mission from the map, you will respawn with the game now being set at night.

You can change time of day in Spider-Man 2 (unoffically) by heading to Mysterium location, slowing down the via the shortcut settings, and using the map to replay and quit.

It's unclear if this will get patched, but it's a nice alternative right now. You should still back up your save before you do this, as it may have unknown side effects on the game and you may not be able to re-enter to day time. As of right now, we have no idea what to expect from future Marvel's Spider-Man 2 updates outside of New Game+.

Thanks to a pair of teases from a couple of industry insiders, Nintendo fans are wondering if a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is not only real, but releasing soon. It began on October 29 when a well known industry analyst and occasional teaser, Dr. Serkan Toto, in a now deleted tweet, tweeted "Z R 2023." For a couple of reasons, Nintendo fans took this as a hint that a Zelda remake is going to release this year.

Fast-forward to November 2, and Nintendo leaker Zippo has claimed "The Hero of Time will return in the very near future." That said, where Toto made no mention or hint at what Zelda game could be remade, Zippo accompanies this tease with a picture of Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The image could have been chosen at random, but this seems unlikely.

Of course, if another Zelda game was going to be remastered or remade for Nintendo Switch, Ocarina of Time would be the most obvious choice simply because it would be the most popular choice, but there have been rumors of Twilight Princess and Wind Waker remakes in the past as well. Of course, Zelda fans would be excited to see either of these return as well, but Ocarina of Time is guaranteed to produce the biggest pop.

Unfortunately, this is the extent of the teases. Right now, it seems clear the pair are committing to something with Zelda before the end of the year, but there's no definitive reporting, just teasing, and nothing that confirms this return will be Ocarina of Time. And of course, there's no guarantee either of the teases are based in anything accurate. And unfortunately, Nintendo is not going to set the record straight with a comment. If it does, we will update the story accordingly, but we don't expect it so say a peep about this, regardless of whether there's anything to either tease. In the meantime, take everything here with a grain of salt.

This weekend with BlizzCon, the Overwatch 2 development team not only confirmed the new tank character for the game, the Samoan hero Mauga, but actually made him playable. Attendees of BlizzCon weren't the only ones that could get their hands on Mauga but Overwatch 2 players around the world were given the chance to try him out early for this weekend only. Mauga will officially arrive in Overwatch 2 with season 8, kicking off in December of this year. ComicBook.com was on hand for a group interview with a member of the Overwatch 2 development team, speaking with Hero Design Producer Kenny Hudson who offered details about Mauga's place in the game and how confident Blizzard is with his release.

Overwatch 2: Mauga's role in the meta

"So he's a rush down, kind of brawl tank, but he's also a tank that can hitscan and hit flying targets and a lot of those faster enemies. So we'd like to see him in comps where he can get boosted by Lucio or Lifeweaver can heal him a lot because he's a big target. But he can use his overrun to get into fights. Healers can heal him up, save him a little bit, but he can also take down those you know, pesky Pharahs or Echoes or something like that and pick them off like a Junker Queen couldn't or a Roadhog couldn't. "

Some Overwatch 2 players have already expressed a little bit of concern about the arrival of Mauga in the next season of the game, specifically because many of the hard-counter characters are in such a good play. Characters like Ana, Sombra, Symmetra, and Orissa are all good counters to Mauga that happen to be in good spots overall in Overwatch 2, does that deflate the arrival of Mauga when his counters are also great? Hudson responds:

"Well, we feel like we're dropping Mauga into a place where he's always he's also in a good place. He outputs a lot of damage. So I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with having a good counter to a hero. But Mauga;s upside is that he is going to output a ton of damage and we feel like that's okay for tanks too."

Overwatch 2 characters that pair with Mauga

Overwatch 2 remains a team based shooter, meaning Mauga's design and kit puts him in a place to work with some characters better than others. In development one of the first characters that it became clear would pair well with him was Ashe, since both can ignite enemy characters with fire, but one pairing that came as a surprise and wasn't considered at first was how Mauga plays with support character Lifeweaver.

"I definitely think Liveweaver pairs well," Hudson said. "Being able to rush in and kind of have that save waiting for you and a healing output sent on the way to your destination felt really good. And then I would say the Ash interaction once we figured out that that's what we wanted. We wanted to keep Margaret's theme of fire. We wanted, obviously Ash is going to keep her theme of fire for dynamite. And we didn't want players to have to learn two different visual languages for almost the same thing. When we put those two things together and figured hey like what if you got the bonus critical strike from Ashe dynamite like it kind of seemed like a match made in heaven while we were play testing."

Overwatch 2 will continue to drop new characters every other season

Since Overwatch 2 began with its season roll out, the development team has consistently released a new hero with every other season (starting with the even numbered seasons). When asked if Blizzard had any intention of revising their plans of a new hero every other season, Hudson was quick to note that they'll definitely stick to this because they have more heroes in development right now than they've ever had.

"Interestingly enough with the team the way we have it structured now and we're structured for Overwatch 2, this is actually the most amount of heroes that we've ever had in simultaneous development at one time. So I'm pretty confident looking at the schedule, which is my everyday thing, that we're pretty comfortable with where things are and pretty confident that we're going to hit our targets for releasing a new hero every other season."

Is Overwatch 2 free?

Since the launch of Overwatch 2 in October of 2022, yes, Overwatch 2 is now a free to play game.

Spoilers for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be featured in this article.

Some Call of Duty fans are mourning the loss of an iconic character from the original trilogy. The Call of Duty series is probably best known for its fast-paced multiplayer, but it also has some really iconic campaigns. Fans will probably best know the stories of the Modern Warfare trilogy and the early Black Ops games, as that's when Call of Duty was really in its golden age. The original Modern Warfare trilogy was the perfect blend of drama and over-the-top action, allowing you to feel consistently engaged by both the story and the gameplay. The trilogy also packed a punch with some major deaths from both good guys and villains.

The new rebooted Modern Warfare series has been a bit reluctant to kill people off. A lot of the characters that "died" have come back in various ways, even Zakhaev's son who was pushed down a missile silo and is now back in the Zombies storyline. However, Modern Warfare 3 appears to permanently kill off some beloved characters from the original series. Ironically, they're characters who also died in the original games, which leaves fans feeling even more heartbroken. The two biggest deaths in Modern Warfare 3 are Soap and General Shepherd. The latter is killed off in a post-credits cutscene by Captain Price, blaming the General for failing to kill Makarov which resulted in Soap's eventual death. However, the one really stinging people is Soap himself. He was properly re-introduced in last year's Modern Warfare 2 and was a fan-favorite thanks to his incredible chemistry with Ghost. This even prompted some to ask for a spin-off with just those two characters.

Sadly, it seems unlikely that will happen. Soap is killed by Makarov at the end of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 after Soap tries to save Price from being executed. Makarov manages to shoot Soap in the head and he is later cremated and given a funeral by Task Force 141. Of course, the character was also killed by Makarov in the original Modern Warfare 3 when he is blown out of a clock tower and is unable to be saved. Some fans argue that his death was handled better in the original game as it had more emotion behind it. The actor who plays Soap, Neil Ellice, also thanked fans for their love during his time in the role.

A PlayStation console exclusive is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S this month, and when it does, it will be available via Xbox Game Pass the moment it goes live. The game in question hails from August 22, 2022 and was notably made available via PS Plus the day it released. So, the fact it's now being included with Xbox Game Pass right at the release of the Xbox Series X version is not that surprising. In addition PS4 and PS5, when the game released it was also available on PC. As for who made it, it was developed by Roll7 and published Private Division. If you haven't connected the dots yet, the game is Rollerdrome, which is coming to Xbox Series X on November 28, priced at $29.99.

When the game was initially released last year, it was released to Metacritic scores of 79 and 81, with said scores varying depending on the version. Meanwhile, how well it built on this decent critical reception with commercial sales, we don't know. We don't have any information about well the game performed on the market, but it likely got a nice bit of change for launching with PS Plus, and now Xbox Game Pass.

"Rollerdrome is a single-player third-person action shooter that seamlessly blends high-octane combat with fluid motion to create an action experience like no other," reads an official blurb about the game. "Dominate with style in cinematic, visceral combat where kills net you health and pulling off tricks and grinds provide you ammunition, in this adrenaline-pumping action shooter."

The game's official description continues: "The year is 2030. In a world where corporations rule and the lines between reality and performance are blurred, the public are kept distracted by the violence and excess of a brutal new blood sport-Rollerdrome. Will you have what it takes to become the Rollerdrome champion and unravel the mysteries behind the Matterhorn corporation's true intentions?"

How long the game is going to be available via Xbox Game Pass, we don't know. This information has not been disclosed. What we do know is that once the game is available via Xbox Game Pass, subscribers will be able to purchase it outright with a 20 percent discount.

The director of Naughty Dog's upcoming multiplayer game set within the world of The Last of Us has shared a hopeful new update on the project. In recent months, news tied to Naughty Dog's untitled multiplayer game has been quite grim. Originally planned to have been shown off to the public in 2023, reports in the first half of the year indicated that this new The Last of Us title was in a lot of trouble internally. In short, the game was said to not be coming together in the way that PlayStation hoped it would, which led to the team working on the project at Naughty Dog scaling down drastically. Fortunately, work on the game doesn't seem to have been outright canceled yet, which has been a lingering fear for many fans.

In a new message on social media, Vinit Agarwal, the game director at Naughty Dog on this upcoming The Last of Us multiplayer title, broadly confirmed that it's still in active development. Agarwal didn't say anything extensive about the title and its current status, but he told fans that he's "still working on that game" as part of a footnote in a tweet. At the very least, this now confirms that Naughty Dog hasn't shuttered development completely, which means that it could still see the light of day.

Assuming that this anticipated The Last of Us project does eventually release, the big question at the moment comes with when it would be revealed to the public. Originally, this multiplayer spin-off was meant to arrive as a separate game mode with The Last of Us Part II back in 2020. As the mode's scope grew, though, Naughty Dog opted to make it its own standalone title instead. Now, to hear that Naughty Dog has scaled down its work on the title suggests that the game itself could be shrinking in scale. As such, if The Last of Us Part III ends up releasing in the future as multiple reports have indicated, maybe this individual multiplayer game will just get folded into that entry.

A new leak has shown off an early glimpse of an upcoming collaboration between Fortnite and the Netflix TV series Stranger Things. Back in 2019, an initial crossover between Fortnite and Stranger Things took place which saw character skins for Chief Hopper and the Demogorgon coming to the battle royale shooter. Now, another clash between the two brands seems poised to happen again, although when is not yet known.

Shown off on social media, a few clips of this new Fortnite x Stranger Things crossover have started to emerge. Notably, this new collab will bring Millie Bobby Brown's character, Eleven, as the game's latest character skin. Eleven will be added to Fortnite with three different skins in total. One will resemble her appearance in Season 3, while the other two will be variants of her short-haired look in the Hawkins lab. Additionally, Eleven will have a unique emote and piece of Back Bling to equip as well.

Although Eleven will be the only skin from Stranger Things coming to Fortnite, leaker iFireMonkey has also outlined everything else that should be joining the game. This full crossover will see two different pickaxes coming to the Item Shop with one being for Steve Harrigton's bat, while the other will resemble Eddie Munson's spear. As for the aforementioned Back Bling, one will be a diorama of Hopper's cabin with the other being a waffle.

Currently, Fortnite is in the midst of a massive resurgence thanks to "Fortnite OG," which has seen the game's original map and weapons returning for a limited time. In total, Fortnite OG is expected to be around for the next month and will continue to receive new updates over that time. According to a new report, a Bloodborne movie is in the works at Sony Pictures via producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and writer Darren Lemke. There is currently no mention of a director on the project, which may suggest Sony has not found its director yet. As for the two names attached, writer Darren Lemke's story and writing credits include Shazam!, Gemini Man, The Wheel of Time, Goosebumps, Shrek Forever After, Jack the Giant Slayer, The Parts You Lose, and Turbo. Meanwhile, Lorzeno Di Bonaventura has served as a producer since 2005. His work includes many Transformer and G.I. Joe movies, as well as video game movies such as DOOM and Dead Rising.

As for the report itself, it comes the way of industry insider Daniel Richtman, a source that has proven both reliable and been off the mark in the past. To supplement his claim, Richtman provides a supposed logline for the movie which, unfortunately, is very generic. In other words, it doesn't add any salient details.

"Sony project based on the PlayStation game of the same name," reads the leaked document. "Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease which transforms the residents, called Yharnamites, into horrific beasts. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings."

Is any of this true? There's no way of knowing. Considering PlayStation has done absolutely nothing with Bloodborne since its release in 2015, despite substantial demand, it's hard to imagine it would out of nowhere appear with a movie adaptation, but the source in question is generally pretty reliable. Whatever the case, so far it's not drawn any comment from Sony. We don't expect this to change for a handful of reasons, but if it does, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. In the meantime, be sure to take this information with a grain of salt. Even if it is accurate, it's subject to change that may eventually render it inaccurate.

Some PlayStation Plus subscribers are not getting one of November's free games, and it happens to be the best free game being offered next month. This coming Tuesday, all PS Plus subscribers -- whether they are subscribed to PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, or PS Plus Premium -- will be able to download the following games: Aliens: Fireteam Elite, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, and Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Unfortunately, everyone is not literally everyone in this case though. Some subscribers won't be able to download all three of these games. Some will only be able to download two of these games, plus a random replacement that's been offered via the subscription service in the past.

No matter which camp you fall in, November's offering is fairly disappointing. Aliens: Fireteam Elite and Dragon Ball: The Breakers are both write offs. However, Mafia II: Definitive Edition is a solid game, and a great trip down memory lane if you played the original back in 2010. Unfortunately, if you're in the Middle East, you will not be getting this game, presumably due to content rating issues. Rather, you will be getting Tropico 5, which is a major downgrade, and a game that's been offered in the past so it's a repeat.

If you're in the Middle East and not familiar with Tropico 5, it came out in 2014 and isn't even the latest installment in the series. Developed by Haemimont games and published by Kalyspo Media Digital, it's a construction sim meets management sim that released to various Metacritic scores in the 70s, with the scores varying platfom to platform.

"Return to the remote island nation of Tropico in the next installment of the critically acclaimed and hugely popular 'dictator sim' series," reads an official blurb about the game. "Expand your Dynasty's reign from the early colonial period to beyond the 21st Century, facing an all-new set of challenges, including advanced trading mechanics, technology and scientific research, exploration and for the first time in Tropico history - cooperative and competitive multiplayer for up to 4 players."

At the moment, PlayStation has not said anything about the switch in any capacity. We don't expect this to change at this point, but if it does, we will be sure to update the story accordingly.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder are the two biggest releases of the last few weeks, and some of the biggest releases of the year. And both have received great reviews. To this end, Spider-Man 2 boasts a 90 on Metacritic. Meanwhile, Super Mario Bros. Wonder boast a 92. Another recent big release, Alan Wake 2, boasts an 89. All three of these games are recent releases, all three are critically acclaimed, and all three also have in common that Slay the Princess, a new indie horror game on Steam, has a higher Metacritic score than all three. Technically, it has the same score as Super Mario Bros. Wonder, with a 92, but Metacritic ranks it higher on the "Best Games This Year" list as its score is closer to 93 than the new Mario game.

If you've never heard of this game, you're not alone, but it came out on October 23 via developer Black Tabby Games, who also published the game. And apparently the PC exclusive is really good. Not only is it earning high review scores, but its Steam User review scores are also high. Currently, it's accumulated 2,737 user reviews, 97 percent of which are positive, giving the game an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating, the highest rating a game can earn on Steam.

"This isn't a game. This is an experience. A shockingly terrible, beautifully crafted, horrific, uncertain experience. Who is the player? Who is the narrator? Who is the hero? The voices," reads the one of these user reviews. "All of these questions are unimportant and make no sense. What is important is the experience that the interaction of each element plus the player's decisions generate. This is not an experience. This is the consequence of every decision the player makes. From the beginning to the end. From the first start to the last. Once you start, it's already too late."

If you're interested in checking out the game, you will need to fork over $17.99. Unfortunately, the Steam listing makes no mention of the Steam Deck, so the game presumably does not support the handheld Valve machine. Below, you can read more about the game and view a trailer for it as well:

Ed Boon, the director of Mortal Kombat 1 at NetherRealm Studios, has teased a number of new features that should be coming to the fighting game in the future. Since launching back in September, NetherRealm has continued to update MK1 at a frequent pace and is even preparing to release the title's first DLC fighter, Omni-Man, this coming week. Now, Boon is opening up about what else those within NetherRealm are looking to bring to the game and has looked to fans for further feedback.

In a recent post on social media, Boon informed Mortal Kombat 1 players that NetherRealm is working on a slew of new additions to the game's online multiplayer component. Boon didn't say when these features will be arriving, but he said that NetherRealm is looking to add crossplay, a ping filter, a WiFi filter, and an update to Ranked mode that would shift to a best two-out-of-three format. Alongside announcing these potential improvements to MK1, Boon opened a poll that would give players the option to vote on what feature they'd like to see implemented first.

Based on the results of this poll, crossplay is what most Mortal Kombat 1 players want to see added sooner rather than later. Crossplay was a feature that was found in Mortal Kombat 11, which led many fans to believe that it would have been seen in Mortal Kombat 1 at launch. Unfortunately, this didn't prove to be the case, which led to some annoyance from those who picked up MK1 right away. Currently, this survey that Boon has opened up has seen 75% of voters say that they want crossplay first, which means that it could be added in the coming weeks or months.

For now, it's not known when crossplay or any additional online features may end up coming to Mortal Kombat 1. As mentioned previously, though, Omni-Man is set to join the roster of MK1 this coming week on November 9 for those that purchased the Kombat Pack or Premium Edition of the game. The following week, Omni-Man will then become buyable on his own on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC digital storefronts.

Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S users have been surprised with a new freebie for a major upcoming release. While November isn't as jam packed full of major video game releases as it normally is, there are numerous notable games releasing this month. The most notable of these releases is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. While many gamers will be checking out releases such as Super Mario RPG, RoboCop: Rogue City, Persona 5 Tactica, the Nintendo Switch port of Hogwarts Legacy, and more, none of it will attract the number of players Modern Warfare 3 is going to.

If you're looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 -- whether it's playing its campaign or checking out its multiplayer offering -- and you're on either Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X, then you may be excited to know you can tap into this hype by giving your Xbox console a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 makeover. And no we aren't talking about that controversial new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ad that takes over your entire screen. Rather, we are talking about a new home screen, and more than that, a new dynamic home screen. In this case, dynamic refers to the fact the background has movement as opposed to being static.

Activision and Xbox have come together to release a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 dynamic background on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X featuring Captain Price, the face of the game's marketing. Unfortunately, the dynamic element of the background is minimal, as is the design in general. That said, if you're excited for the game and like the color red, it's a great free download.

This freebie is available to everyone regardless if you own a copy of the game through pre-order or eventually a standard purchase. How long it's going to be available for, we don't know. It's possible it will be a limited time offer, but so far, every background released on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S has remained available in perpetuity so far.

Disney Lorcana's next set will feature another, not previously advertised Disney movie franchise. Earlier this week, attendees at Lucca Comics and Games, an Italian convention, discovered that Ravensburger's booth contained advertisements for Disney Lorcana that included several new unrevealed cards from the upcoming "Rise of the Floodborn" set. One of these cards was an Action card called "Pick a Fight" that featured Ralph from the Wreck It Ralph franchise. The card looks to be a valuable one that allows a chosen character to target readied character for a turn, meaning that a player can potentially challenge and banish relatively safe cards. When Disney Lorcana first announced Rise of the Floodborn, they confirmed that the set would feature characters from several Disney franchises new to the game, including Pinocchio, The Great Mouse Detective, and Zootopia. However, Wreck It Ralph was not on the list of franchises included, although this is likely because the Pick a Fight card is an Action card and not a Character card.

Given that the new card set is only about two weeks from release, we should see the full set catalog sometime soon. It's doubtful that this card is the only surprise waiting for fans, so keep an eye out for more Disney surprises in the coming weeks.

Where to Buy Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn

The new Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn set will include two new Starter Decks, featuring Amber/Sapphire and Amethyst/Steel, in addition to a new Illumineer's Trove. Additionally, two new playmats featuring Winnie the Pooh and Beast will also be released alongside the deck and card sleeves and deck boxes featuring Mulan and Sisu will also be released alongside the new set. Although stock for the first set has been relatively scarce due to unprecedented demand, Ravensburger is releasing more stock of the first set to stores now and has reprints planned for both of its first card sets due to hit stores in the coming weeks. Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn will release at local game stores on November 17th, followed by a mass market release on December 1st. You'll be able to find details on exactly when and where you can pick the cards up online right here.

The release date for Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox Series X and S may have just been revealed. Although Baldur's Gate 3 is already available for PlayStation 5 and PC, the Xbox iteration of the acclaimed RPG has been promised to still be launching before the end of 2023. And while developer Larian Studios has yet to make anything official, a new report may have just given eager Xbox fans a date to circle on the calendar.

According to Exputer, Baldur's Gate 3 is currently expected to hit Xbox Series X and S next month on Wednesday, December 6. This information is said to come from anonymous sources that are familiar with the Xbox port of BG3. Given that Larian itself has yet to publicly announce this launch date, there's a chance that this release could end up shifting. For the time being, though, those within the studio are currently intending to have BG3 hit Xbox on this day as long as ongoing playtests proceed as planned.

Whenever Baldur's Gate 3 does release on Xbox Series X/S, it's likely that it will become one of the highest-reviewed games of the year on the platform. Currently, Baldur's Gate 3 is tied with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Metacritic as the best-reviewed game of 2023 so far. When looking only at Xbox, Alan Wake 2 is the top-rated game on the platform until this point as it boasts a 93/100 aggregate score. Whether or not Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox can end up generating higher review scores on Xbox than Alan Wake 2 remains to be seen, but based on the title's reviews on other platforms, it certainly seems likely.

There are currently three notable PS5 games with notable discounts on the PlayStation Store that make said games cheaper than $5. These are the three best deals on PSN at the moment, and one of these three deals is for a critically acclaimed game with a 92 on Metacritic. Of course, none of the three games are the latest, big budget games to grace the platform, but those type of games aren't made this cheap until many years after their release. A new game that was slated to release on PlayStation 4 consoles in mere days has now been pushed back until the end of November. More often than not, when various games do get delayed, their release dates are shifted weeks or months in advance of launch. For one reason or another, though, a title that has been eagerly awaited by some PS4 owners has now had its release date moved at the eleventh hour.

Announced recently on social media by publisher Microids, the PS4 version of Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh has now been delayed until Thursday, November 30. Previously, Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh was slated to launch only three days from now on November 7, which means that this release delay has come about with very little notice. As for the reason behind this delay, Microids didn't provide an explanation for the situation.

"Originally scheduled for release on November 7, 2023, the PlayStation 4 version is now scheduled for release on November 30, 2023, in both digital and physical formats," said the statement from Microids on this delay. "We're fully aware of the anticipation this has caused, and we sincerely hope that this new release date will satisfy gamers around the world."

The silver lining with this situation is that only the PS4 iteration of Tintin Reporter - Cigars of the Pharaoh has been impacted by this delay. Outside of coming to PS4, Tintin Reporter is also arriving across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and will still all see their respective releases next week. With this in mind, it seems like the PS4 version of this new Tintin title may have just run into some specific problems that require a bit more time to rectify.

The head of the Pokemon franchise is keeping his eye on AI and other emerging technologies as he considers how they might impact the popular games. Last month, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of The Pokemon Company, had a wide-ranging interview with Nikkei Asia about the Pokemon franchise. During the interview, Ishihara was asked how he and The Pokemon Company considers "changing technologies" and their impact on Pokemon games. "In Pokemon Red and Green, released for Nintendo's Game Boy in 1996, we incorporated a system that let users trade Pokemon with a communication cable," Ishihara said. "We have always thought about ways to use technologies to have fun. However, such technologies are not that new. For instance, the Global Positioning System, which is used for Pokemon Go, is a conventional technology. We don't restrict ourselves to cutting-edge technologies, and always think about what kind of games can actually be made while society is in the process of adapting various technologies. Just like connoisseurs, we have been evaluating technologies that, for example, are not new yet can be utilized for creating new games."

Ishihara was then asked if there are any emerging technologies that he's keeping an eye on. Unsurprisingly, Ishihara mentioned AI technology as a potential game-changer for society. "I am interested in the evolution of generative artificial intelligence," Ishihara said. "I think Sam Altman, CEO of the U.S. startup OpenAI, which developed the interactive artificial intelligence-powered chatbot ChatGPT, is a unique person. He seems to be predicting the arrival of a new world, like Google did with its groundbreaking search engine."

While Ishihara discussed how generative AI could potentially be integrated in everyday use, he stopped short of saying that Pokemon would use AI in future games. "Generative AI is definitely a useful technology," Ishihara said. "Google Maps has become an indispensable tool when moving around, and generative AI has more potential than that. Initially, there may be issues such as privacy, but the technology won't go away. Instead, those issues will be solved gradually, leading to an environment with a new normal in which people can use generative AI technologies in their daily lives."

It's not exactly that Ishihara is keeping an eye on AI technologies, which has become all the rage in Silicon Valley and at many corporations. A variety of industries are looking at how to incorporate AI into their businesses, even as people debate the ethics of using AI. Based on Ishihara's comments, it doesn't seem that The Pokemon Company will adopt AI immediately, although he doesn't seem opposed to using AI if there's a practical usage down the road.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2's director Bryan Intihar seemingly can't stop teasing Daredevil content. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the third game in the Insomniac Games Marvel universe and although it centers around Peter Parker and Miles Morales, there are tons of references to other Marvel heroes. Black Panther, Doctor Strange, the Avengers, and many others are all referenced throughout the series and Marvel's Wolverine is confirmed to be set in the same universe. However, there is one New York hero that doesn't really have an excuse to not lend Spidey a helping hand from time to time. Daredevil is confirmed to exist in the Insomniac Spider-Man games, but we have yet to see him.

However, that may be changing. In the first game, Matt Murdock's office was something players could find and then Peter would comment on it if he took a picture of it. In Marvel's Spider-Man 2 shows that Murdock was seemingly evicted from his office as the sign for the office has been removed there is a notice on the front door. When asked about this in interviews, director Bryan Inithar wouldn't elaborate much further on it beyond saying it was a good catch and people should stay tuned. To make matters even more interesting, players discovered a strange room in the city that seemed to suggest The Hand was operating somewhere in New York. The secret ninja society is a frequent adversary to Daredevil, so this got fans buzzing. After that, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was then updated to restore Matt Murdock's office. Intihar joked on Twitter that they must have paid their rent. Finally, the director was on an Insomniac Games community livestream and as they were signing off, Intihar quickly asked "Where is Daredevil?"

This could all be an elaborate ruse leading to nothing or it could be something. Insomniac Games has not confirmed nor denied DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The lack of a denial has fans thinking it may be coming, but no one really knows for certain. Either way, Insomniac Games sure knows how to get its fans riled up and foaming at the mouth.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is getting review bombed... but gamers are actually review bombing the one from 2011. The Call of Duty series is deeply iconic and it has been around for 20 years. There's a new game every year without fail and for many, they look forward to the holiday season when they can stay home and grind the game for weeks on end. The franchise has been around long enough that it has seen a bit of a rise and fall. Although it's still very much commercially viable, the actual quality of the game differs year to year. Some fans began to yearn for a return to the Modern Warfare games when Call of Duty was flung into the far future. Instead of doing a sequel, Infinity Ward opted to reboot Modern Warfare with a more grounded sensibility.

Now, here we are... back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3... which also includes maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and will later add maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022). It gets confusing. With that said, fans have begun review bombing Modern Warfare 3 on Metacritic... but they aren't targeting the right one. Instead, these reviews are going to the original Modern Warfare 3 from 2011 which was incidentally Modern Warfare 3 (2023) developer Sledgehammer Games' first Call of Duty game. It's all full circle! If that wasn't ironic enough, the exact same thing happened to that game in 2011. Fans felt like Modern Warfare 3 (2011) was not enough of a leap from the previous Modern Warfare game and deemed it to be Modern Warfare 2.0. Fans review bombed it back in 2011, but people have come around on that game in the years since, especially now that it is available through Xbox's backward compatibility. As of right now, the 2011 Modern Warfare 3 sits at a 3.5 user score.

As of right now, users can not review Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) on Metacritic because only the game's campaign is out right now. The full game will release on November 10th, which is when user reviews can be submitted. There is a lot of outrage over this year's game as it does share content and the DNA of the previous game, features a pretty short campaign, and so on. Whether or not the game will be hurt sales-wise as a result remains to be seen. It seems like Modern Warfare 3 is fighting a bit of an uphill battle, but perhaps the multiplayer will be received well enough to keep players invested.

Alan Wake 2's story may not quite be over yet. Alan Wake 2 is easily one of the best games of 2023, as indicated by the reviews for the game. It is a game many thought would never even see the light of day as the first game was released in 2010. Despite being well-liked, Alan Wake 2 was not a guarantee as the first game failed to be commercially viable. It was released alongside Red Dead Redemption, which as you might imagine, hurt any momentum Alan Wake had. Microsoft rejected Remedy's pitch for a sequel and held on to the rights for the better part of a decade until the developer eventually got them back in the late 2010s. Sometime later, Remedy negotiated a deal with Epic Games to make Alan Wake 2 and finally got it across the finish line. It is a very different game than what Remedy would have made in the early 2010s, but it's probably for the better.

With that said, the game has been out for a week and the ending has been stunning fans. We will be spoiling the game's ending so click away now if you don't want to know, but it is clear Remedy plans to continue the story as things end on a pretty massive cliffhanger. Ideally, fans won't have to wait another thirteen years for a sequel, but at the same time, we really don't know how long it will take or when we will get the next chapter. Remedy has confirmed that we will get new DLC next year, some of which may sort of continue the story, but they also may not be canon. Either way, fans have discovered via datamining that Alan Wake 2 will get an alternate ending and video content. This was lightly teased when Remedy confirmed New Game+ was coming in the near future, but now it's confirmed.

Although it has been taken down, descriptions of the alternate ending suggest it will actually show what happens after the screen cuts to black. We won't spoil it here for you, but it seems like we will find out what comes of Alan Wake's actual fate and Saga's phone call to her daughter. We also get new footage that leads into the DLC and further expands Remedy's connected universe, which includes Control. As for when New Game+ will drop, we don't know, but it is expected to come somewhat soon.

There are some good ways to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for cheap just in time for launch. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is one of the last major releases for 2023 in what was already an incredibly stacked year. Star Wars, Zelda, Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and many, many other major titles released all throughout the year. With that said, your wallet may be feeling pretty light, especially now that so many games cost $70. It's hard to say that a lot of these games don't really justify their price tag, but some folks don't feel that way about Modern Warfare 3. The game has been accused of being a $70 DLC to last year's game given it shares so many of the bones and content of Modern Warfare 2, has an incredibly short campaign that lasts about 4 hours, and more.

The beauty of Call of Duty releasing during the holiday season is that there are always lots of deals to take advantage of, even if they don't directly discount the game itself. Now, given this isn't a retailer like Amazon that specializes in getting things out to customers absurdly fast, this may take a bit. You certainly won't get access to the game during the early access period that allows you to play the campaign right now, as that is only available to digital owners. However, you may get it on November 10th when the full game releases.

How to Get Modern Warfare 3 For Free

If you have your eye on a few big releases, you could get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for free this month. Target is hosting a buy two, get one free deal from November 5th - November 11th. So, you can buy two other games like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and another $70 game and get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for free. The lowest price game is the one you will get for free, but if you get 3 $70 games, it will only cost you the price of two. This is good for those who have a backlog of games they want to get to or maybe you could even give one of the games to someone as a gift.

Microsoft has been increasingly shoving ads down the throats of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners. Recent home screen redesigns have added more ads for featured games and Xbox Game Pass than ever. There's even a "Most Played" games section which you would think would show Xbox users the game they've played the most. Nope, it's used to advertise the most popular games on the Xbox store. And we know Xbox has been looking into adding ad placements in actual games as well. As you would expect, the more it does all of this, the more Xbox fans revolt, which is to say complain about it on Reddit, X, and other social media platforms about it. It looks like Xbox doesn't care though as it's continued the invasive ads.

If you booted up your Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X lately, you've likely been treated to a giant ad that takes over your entire screen for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. And you have to confirm you're not interested in buying the game before you can access your console. It's a little much, and many Xbox fans were quick to call it out. This isn't the first time Xbox has done this, but it seems either this has been the most prevalent push of the ad or for some reason this ad in particular caught the attention of those that received it, which is probably true because it's a very bright red that stops you in your tracks.

While many have called out the invasive ad others have defended it, suggesting because it can be closed out of so quickly that it hardly registers as an annoyance. This is, of course, true, but doesn't justify why it needs to take over your screen to begin with. Microsoft makes so much money it could burn half of it what it makes and still have no idea what to do with the rest. There's also a reasonable expectation that -- at the very least -- you won't have to be bombarded with ads on a machine you paid half a grand for. Lastly, nobody likes ads. So people complaining about ads isn't a new trend. People defending ads though is a far newer concept. More than this, this is the starting point, not the end. The ads will get more plentiful and more invasive over time, especially if so many give their permission at every checkpoint.

A major Nintendo Switch feature is being removed in 2024, and right now, there's no explanation for why. The main reason anyone owns a Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, or a Switch OLED is to play games, and specifically, games Nintendo makes. If you own a Nintendo Switch, there's a good chance you're playing games and series like Zelda, Animal Crossing, Mario, Mario Kart, Fire Emblem, Kirby, Metroid, Pikmin, Pokemon, Super Smash Bros., Splatoon, and Xenoblade Chronicles. What you're probably not doing is engaging with other app content, but some Switch owners certainly are. To this end, if you enjoy using the Twitch app on Nintendo Switch, well, enjoy it while it lasts.

According to several reports, Twitch has been sending out emails letting Nintendo fans it's removing the Twitch app from the Nintendo Switch. Why it's doing this, it doesn't say, but notes it will come into effect on January 31, 2024. As you may know, the app has been available on the Nintendo eShop since 2021.

"We are reaching out to let you know that we have made the hard decision to remove the Twitch App from the Nintendo Switch. The app will be removed January 31, 2024," reads the emails in question. "Thank you for supporting Twitch streamers and communities on the Nintendo Switch. For more Twitch content, please visit https://www.twitch.tv/ on your browser or https://www.twitch.tv/downloads for the Twitch App on other devices."

So far, Twitch has not said anything more on the matter, which includes an official statement. And so far, Nintendo hasn't said a peep about the matter either. At this point, we are not sure this will change, for a variety of reasons, but if it does, we will be sure to update the story accordingly.

Of course, this raises questions on whether the next Nintendo console -- rumored to be a Switch successor -- will support the Twitch app. And the answer to this is probably no. Even if that possibility and this don't cross, the reality is Nintendo hardware always takes a couple of years to add third-party apps.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has revealed its list of primary weapons. The Call of Duty franchise has, on the surface, some pretty standard guns, but their power, sounds, and overall aura have made games like ACR, the FAMAS, the gold Desert Eagle, and many others. Your weapon in Call of Duty dictates the fun you will have with it. Of course, some guns are way better than others, some require a bit more finesse, but the developers pour a lot of effort into making sure there's a diverse and enjoyable variety for players to select from their arsenal. Now, Modern Warfare 3 is nearly here and it will include the most guns in any Call of Duty game to date.

There are 114 weapons total in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at launch with 37 new ones from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and 77 weapons carrying over from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will ensure that the guns from the previous game are appropriately balanced for the gameplay changes made in this year's game as tweaks to health, time to kill, and overall feel have been drastically changed and therefore guns can not be identical in terms of performance. It's been almost 20 years since Rockstar Games released GTA San Andreas, which means its been almost 20 years since we've seen various types of content from the game, the last of that era before GTA 4, and GTA 5 especially, evolved the series. There's a reason that GTA San Andreas -- alongside GTA 3 and GTA Vice City -- is the favorite of many Grand Theft Auto fans. It was from an era where Rockstar Games was less committed to realism and embraced random, zany content. For example, one of the side missions in GTA San Andreas was trucking. We haven't seen this type of side mission content since then, but apparently GTA 6 is remedying this.

As it's been pointed out on Reddit for the first time, the map that featured in the famous GTA 6 leaks of last year features a truck icon on said map. This could represent a variety of activities, but trucking is the most obvious one. And considering the game is going to be partially set in Vice City, the series' fictional take on Miami, then it's reasonable to expect that if there is trucking in the game, you may be moving some illegal contraband. That said, this is just speculation. For all we know it's just American Truck Simulator but in GTA.

It's worth noting not only is it not entirely clear what this icon could be a stand-in for, but this comes from a leak of a very old version of the game, a game that may have changed a lot since that build was made years ago. This is to say, take this information with a grain of salt.

As for Rockstar Games, it has not commented on any of this. We don't expect this to change for a wide range of reasons, but if it does, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. Lords of the Fallen got a new update from developer Hexworks not too long ago, one that took aim at several problematic weapons and spells in the Soulslike game. Those changes for boss weapons in general and spells like "Blessed Reflections" and "Infernal Hounds" were immediately criticized by players with the changes regarding boss weapons attracting the bulk of attention. Hexworks has since responded to those frustrations from players with some good and bad news: these changes are sticking around and won't be reverted which probably isn't what naysayers want to hear, but the upside is that these conversations have convinced Hexworks to start balancing PvE and PvP separately from one another.

The changes in question were released on November 2nd in an update that went live across all platforms, and the quick response from Hexworks came just a day later.

Lords of the Fallen Balance Changes

If you missed out on the patch notes for the latest Lords of the Fallen update, the problems people had with the boss weapons specifically involved the upgrade paths for those weapons being expanded on significantly. Instead of being capped at +5, those weapons now go up to +10 with the weapons' upgrade curves adjusted accordingly.

"Boss weapons will now have 10 levels instead of 5, and we've modified their upgrade curves," the patch notes said. "While they remain potent, they are no longer overpowered in PVP."

To accommodate players who might've been using boss weapons and now have double the upgrade path ahead of them, the patch notes said that Hexworks "temporarily reduced the cost of Deralium Chunks at the shrine," though it's now been confirmed that the change will be permanent.

As for the spells, both Blessed Reflections and Infernal Hounds have had their mana costs "significantly increased."

Hexworks Responds to Backlash

The frustrated responses came quickly and resulted in a statement from Hexworks shared on Friday to add context to the changes.

"It's important to emphasize that these are necessary changes to establish a fairer experience for all players," Hexworks said. "For context, we noticed players were frustrated when being one-shotted during PVP by invaders using particularly overpowered spells and boss weapons. These weapons and the two spells needed a revision."

Reassuringly, those who've said from the beginning that PvE and PvP should be split in terms of balance changes similar to what we see in Elden Ring will get their wish.

"Please know that we hear you, and as some of you suggested, we are already in the process of separating the balancing for PVE and PVP to ensure that both aspects of the game can coexist and are optimized for the best possible experience in both modes," the devs said.

A more detailed roadmap is coming soon to explain further.

A video about the PS5 Pro is making the rounds as it claims the new, rumored PlayStation console from Sony is a "BEAST." There's still no official word of a PS5 version of the PS4 Pro, but there's been plenty of rumors and reports claiming a mid-gen refresh is in the works at the PlayStation. If this is true, there's a good chance we will see this machine either in 2024 or 2025, as the console generation is expected to run until 2028. We know this because of leaked documents from Microsoft that revealed it's aiming to release the next Xbox in 2028. If this happens, the PS6 will follow suit.

While there's been plenty of rumors and reports about the PS5 Pro's existence, not many have spilled any information about what it's packing. A new video, the aforementioned video, from Red Gaming Tech over on YouTube does provide some of this vital information though.

As GamingBible reports, the PS5 Pro will be working with a massive APU upgrade compared to the base PS5. More than this, it's claimed it will boast an eight-core Zen 2 CPUs that will clock in at 4GHz. Complimenting this will be an RDNA 3 GPU at 2.8 GHZ and a 16GB of 18,000 MT/s GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 587 GB/s. If this is true, then the PS5 Pro innards are quite impressive. The only problem with this is impressive means expensive. Unfortunately, the rumor does not mention pricing information or a release date. Nor does it mention a reveal date.

Of course, take all of this information with a grain of salt. While some PlayStation fans consider this YouTube channel reliable, it's unclear what their track record is. Further, even if this information is all entirely accurate, it doesn't mean it will remain accurate as everything is subject to change.

At the moment of publishing, PlayStation has not commented on any of this. We don't anticipate this changing for a variety of reasons, but if it does, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. Rumors of Diablo 4 creators Blizzard Entertainment announcing an expansion for the game at BlizzCon were true with Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred announced this week during the big event. This expansion is due out at some point in 2024, though it lacks a more specific release date at this time. What we do know, however, is that it'll introduce a class that's never been seen in a Diablo game before. That and other limited details were shared during the BlizzCon reveal to offer our first indications of what Vessel of Hatred will look like and how it'll expand on the game's story.

First things first, though -- the trailer for Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred was released during the BlizzCon reveal, and you can see that right below. It's short, and it doesn't reveal much, but we thankfully have an accompanying blog post from Blizzard to catch people up if you weren't able to tune in for the live presentation.

Mephisto himself is the star of Vessel of Hatred with the expansion building upon the story of the base game in Diablo 4. In Vessel of Hatred, players will journey to Nahantu, a new region. One would imagine that the new region may go hand-in-hand with whatever the Diablo 4's first DLC class will be, though Blizzard apparently isn't quite ready to reveal details on that new class just yet.

"Vessel of Hatred continues the grim tale that began in Diablo IV, as you learn the fate of the prime evil Mephisto and his demonic plans for Sanctuary. To do that, you'll be visiting a region new to Diablo IV, known by the locals as Nahantu," Blizzard said of the new Vessel of Hatred DLC. "With this continuation of the campaign's story comes new ways to play, new evils to vanquish, and a brand-new Class never before seen in the Diablo universe. Vessel of Hatred releases late next year, and we can't wait to share more about it with you next summer."

In addition to the expansion reveal, we also learned more of what's coming in Diablo 4's near future. Season 3, for example, will add a dungeon called The Gauntlet which allows players to compete for higher class ratings as part of a weekly challenge. Blizzard also teased some of its plans for the game's next holiday event which will start on December 12th. It's called "Midwinter Blight," and it'll be centered around the Fractured Peaks area as the game's first seasonal event.

Prior to the Diablo 4 reveal, Blizzard also introduced Overwatch 2 players to the game's next hero while teasing what's planned for that game in the future. The 10th expansion for World of Warcraft called The War Within was also revealed with a brief teaser for that one shown off as well.

November 3 brought a brand-new Evolution to EA Sports FC 24. The Centurions Striker Evolution targets your team's primary scorer, giving players the option to take a low-rated player and give them a nice boost. EA Sports FC 24 budget players will want to heavily consider this one because the focus of this Evolution is on adding speed to your striker in the form of a big Pace upgrade and the addition of the Rapid PlayStyle. That's because the upgrade is free for everyone, so the only thing you'll need is time. You will have to jump into online gameplay to finish the Evo, but you don't have to win any games, making it easy to complete. Here are the requirements you need to keep in mind when selecting your player for this Evolution:

As usual, there are a ton of options to sift through for this Evolution, but there are a few that stand out from the crowd. Below are the best players to use the Evo on and a quick explanation for why they're good options:

Of these options, the easiest ones to get going are Depay and Torres. You only need their base cards to start them up, and both players get nice boosts. They can also both flex out to the wing if you need them to help make your chemistry work, making them solid players for budget squads.

Tel, Karamoh, and Pedro will all require you to use previous Evolutions to get them up to snuff. Tel is going to take the longest because you'll need to first use the Welcome to Evolutions Evo, but all three will also require the Trailblazers Striker Evolution to get the most out of them. The issue here is that the Striker Evo does cost Coins or FC Points, so those players can't be done for free.

The final option will also cost you some in-game Coins because it's upgrading Trailblazer Guirassy. That card is hovering around 14,000 Coins on the market, but giving him this Evolution makes him much more deadly at the top of your formation.

On November 3, developer Electronic Arts released Centurions Team 2 into packs, Objectives, and Squad Building Challenges. Alongside all of the new players, EA Sports FC 24 fans also have a new Evolution to consider. The Centurions Attacking Mid Evo gives players the option to take a low-rated midfielder and turn them into a maestro; however, it comes at a pretty steep cost. Like last week's paid Centurions Evolution, this one will cost you 150,000 Coins or 2,000 FC Points. That is definitely not cheap, so you'll want to take a long think to see if it's worth it for your team. Below is a look at exactly what you need to keep in mind when deciding and some of the best options available in EA Sports FC 24.

Starting with the Premier League, you have two solid options. Paqueta is a little slow, but does become a five-star Weak Foot, five-star Skill Move player with the upgrade. Havertz is only really an option if you used your FUT Founders Evolution on him to start the year. He's fine without that first upgrade, but Paqueta is the pick if you don't already have an upgraded Havertz.

Kangin Lee will require a bigger investment because you'll need his Team of the Week card, but it's not a bad upgrade for the PSG midfielder. Plus, you can use him and Tottenham's Heung-min Son to link Ligue 1 to the Premier League, if you want. Hofmann is probably the best option in the Bundesliga, though TOTW Alassane Plea is worth a look. Brahim Diaz looks to be a good option in La Liga, getting 90 Dribbing to pair with his five-star Weak Foot.

That said, the best pick of the bunch is likely Toone. She will have nine PlayStyles once you finish the objective, great stats across the board for the CAM position, and five-star skill moves from some extra flair. Speaking of flair, that's her PlayStyle+, meaning she's going to be incredibly fun to control with the ball at her feet.

Overwatch 2 has revealed its new hero, Mauga, a Samoan tank character who looks like he will cause a lot of headaches for his foes. Overwatch 2 is one of the biggest live service games out there and has managed to sustain its relevancy for the better part of a decade thanks to constant support from Blizzard, visceral gameplay, and tons of extra content such as the beloved animated shorts that expand on the lore of Overwatch. The first year of Overwatch 2 has had a lot of controversy with the cancelation of major modes, confusion over the need for a sequel in the first place, and much more. However, Blizzcon brought some exciting news that has fans buzzing.

Overwatch 2 revealed a new hero, Mauga, who will be a disruptive addition to the expansive roster of characters. The new hero is a hulking tank with two chainguns, one that deals incendiary damage that burns enemies over time and one that deals "volatile" damage, which deals critical damage to burning enemies. You can also fire both at the same time for maximum effect. He also has an unstoppable charge similar to Reinhardt, an ability known as "Cardiac Overdrive" that allows you to deal damage while also hearing nearby teammates. Mauga can also trap enemies in a bubble, chain them down to the center, and then unload bullets into them. Ultimately, it looks like he's going to be a total powerhouse and fans won't have to wait long to play as him. Mauga will be available in Overwatch 2 during season 8, which begins on December 5th. However, a leak on the Nintendo eShop suggests that players will be able to play as Mauga for free this weekend during a trial period from November 3rd through November 5th.

Overwatch 2 season 8 hasn't been detailed much beyond this new hero reveal. Season 7 only just began in early October, so it's likely we won't hear much more about what's to come in the new season until the end of November. Either way, Mauga is a character fans have been waiting to see for quite a long time as he has appeared in various pieces of extended media over the years. Mauga was even intended to be a hero in Overwatch quite a long time ago, but Blizzard shifted its plans.

Pokemon's Paradox Rift Revealed

Paradox Rift, the new Pokemon Trading Card Game set introduces the "Ancient" and "Future" keywords to the game, which could be major game-changers. Although neither keyword has any new rules attached, both interact with specific Trainer and Pokemon cards that specifically boost cards with that keyword. Given that the 2022 championship deck used a similar mechanic (based around the Fusion Battle Style), many are expecting that this new set could be a major meta-defining set. The new card set is available to order here on Amazon now.

Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are telling fellow subscribers on PC and Xbox Series X|S not to sleep on a newly added game. 2023 has been a crazy year for video game releases. It's easily the most jam-packed year when it comes to notable game releases in quite some time, and has included the likes of Starfield, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1, Baldur's Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Dead Space, Resident Evil 4, Hi-Fi Rush, Diablo 4, Pikmin 4, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Forza Motorsport, and Hogwarts Legacy. This is an incredible lineup of games, and November and December haven't even happened yet. Because this year is brimming with great releases, a lot of games are flying under the radar. To this end, Xbox Game Pass subscribers over on Reddit are warning not to repeat this mistake with recent release Jusant.

Released on October 31 via Don't Nod -- the studio best known for the Life is Strange series, as well as vampire RPG Vampyr -- Jusant currently boasts Metacritic scores ranging from 82 to 85, depending on the platform. Meanwhile, on Steam, 96 percent of user reviews for the game are positive, which is a very high percentage for the platforms. In other words, it seems consumers are enjoying it even more than critics. And this ties into one of the top posts on the Xbox Game Pass Reddit page, which warns "don't sleep" on the game. And judging by the amount of votes up and most of the comments, this is good advice.

"Jusant is a brand-new action-puzzle climbing game and a meditative journey to the top of a tall tower," reads an official pitch of the game. "Challenge yourself at your own pace, explore different paths, and unravel the secrets from a bygone civilization."

The game's official description continues, adding some details about gameplay: "Master your climbing tools and watch your stamina meter to successfully navigate this mysterious and changing tower. As you go higher and hone your skills, you'll have to figure out how best to use the tools at your disposal to get to where you want to go. Explore alternative paths to find clues about what happened here."

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer and Zombies modes drop next week on November 10th, and ahead of that release, Call of Duty players now know what killstreaks and scorestreaks will be in the game. Activision published the full list of those this week which include some familiar staples like UAV as well as some totally new killstreaks as well. Info on the scores or kills required to use them has been shared, too, so that players can go ahead and plan out what their killstreak loadouts will look like ahead of time.

Past Call of Duty games have alternated between making these streaks available via kills or scores, but in Modern Warfare 3, the game caters to different playstyles by allowing players to choose whether they want these rewards to be unlocked via scores or kills. That said, the options that you'll have to choose from when equipping your killstreaks can be found below. The Mosquito Drone, SAM Turret, Guardian-SC, Remote Turret, and Juggernaut Recon are all new, so pay special attention to those killstreaks so as not to be surprised by them when someone uses one on you in-game.

These killstreaks listed above apply specifically to the multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare 3. While Zombies players will have their killstreaks, too, Activision noted that those consist of a "smaller pool" accessed through different means.

Diablo is coming to the tabletop. Today, Blizzard and Glass Cannon Unplugged announced plans to bring Diablo to the tabletop through two separate projects - Diablo: The Board Game and Diablo: The Roleplaying Game. The tabletop RPG project will be the first to be released at BlizzCon 2024 after a playtest period. Overseeing both projects will be Joe LeFavi of Genuine Entertainment, who previously worked on ALIEN: The Roleplaying Game, Blade Runner and Dune. Details about both games are relatively light, although it was announced that the Diablo RPG would use a "unique system" and that both games would be developed with inputs from the Diablo creative team.

The official description for the Diablo Tabletop RPG reads:

• Explore dark dungeons and forgotten tombs, and delve into the depths of Hell with your own unique characters.
• Forge your own path in the eternal struggle between Light and Dark
• Craft your own narratives and tell your own stories in the ever-shifting world of Sanctuary.

Glass Cannon Unplugged is a relatively newer board game studio responsible for board game adaptations of Apex Legends, Dying Light and Frostpunk. This marks the fourth major video game adaptation the studio has picked up since its launch, but only the first time they've ventured into roleplaying games. However, LeFavi has overseen multiple RPGs, including several projects with Free League Publishing.

Although Diablo has been a major inspiration for numerous dungeon crawler board games, this marks the first time that the Diablo franchise itself has been used in an official board game or tabletop game. Given Diablo's fanbase, both games should also be major sellers when they exist. At this time, it remains unclear if the games will release straight to retail or if a Kickstarter campaign will be involved.

The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG has finally released one of the most long-awaited and highly anticipated sets in years. That's right, it's November 3, also known as 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection day. The Rarity Collection is the first TCG release where every card is available in seven different rarities. Previously, rarity collections have been exclusive to the OCG, which has been painful for TCG fans. With this release though this exclusivity has been broken.

The 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection includes 79 different cards, all available in the following rarities: Super Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare, Platinum Secret Rare, Quarter Century Secret Rare, Prismatic Collector's Rare, and Prismatic Ultimate Rare. How this breaks down with each pack is that there are two Super Rares, one Secret Rare, and two Ultra Rares, however, "lucky" pack openers could also find four different "luxury rarities." To this end, the Secret Rare in every pack has 1-in-4 chance of being a Platinum Secret Rare or a Quarter Century Secret Rare, while each Ultra Rare has a 1-in-6 chance of being a Prismatic Collector's Rare or a Prismatic Ultimate Rare. With all these odds accounted for, every pack -- which contains five cards for the price of $4.99 -- has a chance to contain not one, not two, but three of these special rarities.

As for the cards themselves, the Rarity Collection is largely comprised of meta-relevant cards that are currently short printed, and thus are expensive. If you're looking for really old school cards, you won't find them here -- with a few exceptions -- but between the value of the cards and the special rarities, the set is also a great buy for collectors in addition to active players.

"Watch as your cards sparkle, shine, and gleam in rarities so luxurious that you will be the envy of every Duelist," reads a sales pitch of the set from Knoami. It's unclear how widespread the printing of this set is going to be, but the expectation is that demand will be higher than normal, and thus it's possible quantities could run out quickly.

Activision made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's campaign playable via early access on November 2nd for those who pre-ordered the game, and plenty of players have already beaten the full story. That's because the campaign for the new game is apparently pretty short with some players saying that they finished it in as little as four hours. Length aside, players have had much harsher words for the quality of the campaign overall with critiques of it that have been shared so far calling it "awful" and "the biggest fumble" compared to past Call of Duty games' campaign modes.

Sure enough, if you look up playthroughs of the campaign, you can see that some people are most definitely finishing it within 4 hours, sometimes as quickly as just 3 hours, too. The length is easily one point of concern among players who've gotten to play through the campaign early, but Call of Duty: Warzone-style missions have also been criticized.

How Is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Campaign?

To see how people are feeling about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's campaign, you don't have to look much further than Call of Duty communities on social media. Take the Call of Duty subreddit, for example, which is currently filled with posts like one highly upvoted one discussing the campaign overall. While the contents of that main post were removed due to an apparent rule violation, the comments that remain on the post make the sentiment clear.

"This was unironically the biggest fumble of what was setup to be a great campaign," reads the top comment on that post. "MW 2019 delivered a phenomenal campaign with an amazing setup for at LEAST a trilogy worth of content. Big L here."

Similar posts lamented the quality of the campaign calling it "so awful" compared to the original Modern Warfare 3 campaign. This new version of the campaign has "Open Combat Missions" which are meant to be more open-ended compared to the straightforward nature of past Call of Duty missions. They're meant to "transcend boundaries, empowering players with diverse strategies to achieve their objectives," according to Activision, but players are calling them lazy interpretations of what a campaign mission should look like.

"It's an uninspired and lazy mess and an excuse to forgo creating well-crafted set pieces and any greater sense of scale," reads one post critiquing the Open Combat Missions. "They just take a map they made for Warzone, drop some stupid AI in the middle, and send you on fetch quests. Basically solo DMZ masquerading as a campaign."

The attention given to the campaign, ironically, is due to the fact that it was playable early in the first place. Had it dropped right when the rest of the game did, there still would've been criticisms, but they likely wouldn't have been as plentiful since players would've had everything else to keep them busy, too.

The rest of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 including the Zombies mode and multiplayer will release on November 10th.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has brought back Peter Parker and Miles Morales in one game to see them take on some of the biggest threats to New York City. On top of Kraven the Hunter looking to hunt both spiders in the Big Apple, a certain symbiote is playing a major role in the game's storyline. Thanks to a recent glitch discovered by gamers, it would seem that you can transform Peter and Miles into a character that would fit right into the Hidden Leaf Village of Naruto fame.

Spider-Man has never had his own official anime adaptation before, though he has appeared in an anime series focusing on the Avengers in the past. While we've never seen Peter Parker or Miles Morales actually meet Naruto, we have seen some unique Marvel/Anime crossovers in the past. In a special one-shot, Spider-Man teamed up with the Avengers to take on the Titans of Attack on Titan fame as the behemoths invaded the Marvel Universe. While not featuring Spider-Man, the recent Deadpool manga, Deadpool: Samurai, saw everyone's favorite Merc with a Mouth teaming up with My Hero Academia's All Might to take down the mad titan Thanos.

Spider-Man Does The Naruto Run in NYC

Thanks to a new glitch discovered in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, players were able to see Peter Parker mimic the ninjas of the Naruto franchise. The "Naruto Run" has easily become a fan-favorite "meme" of the shonen franchise, making its way to numerous events and moments in time. While we might never see the Seventh Hokage running alongside the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in New York City, this is the next best thing.

Currently, the Seventh Hokage is facing quite the challenge in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the latest storyline playing out in Naruto's manga series. Locked in a state of limbo by Kawaki, Naruto can currently do nothing for his son Boruto, who is currently believed to be responsible for the death of his father. With the world turned upside down, Boruto Uzumaki is going to have his work cut out for him to bring everything back to normal.

Following the debut of the Diablo IV wave yesterday, and just in time for BlizzCon 2023, McFarlane Toys has revealed what they have in store for the World of Warcraft side of their new partnership with Blizzard. Admittedly, we were a bit disappointed in the decision to produce posed (static) figures for the Diablo wave as opposed to articulated ones and, unfortunately, it's more of the same for WoW. On the plus side, the designs for the 1:12 scale figure-y statue things are pretty solid for both lines, and they come with plenty of accessories like weapons, interchangeable armor pieces, alternate parts, and a display base. Plus, a mystery weapon is included with each.

A breakdown of the entire McFarlane Toys World of Warcraft wave can be found below. Pre-orders were available here at Entertainment Earth immediately after launch and should be available here on Amazon soon. Each figure is priced at $29.99, except the Red Highland Drake and Black Proto-Drake 2-pack, which is $79.99.

The biggest news on the LEGO Super Mario front right now is the launch of the 71426 Piranha Plant set, but fans will have at least two more expansion sets to collect before 2023 wraps up. The 71430 Penguin Family Snow Adventure Expansion Set and the 71429 Nabbit at Toad's Shop Expansion Set are on the way, and everything you need to know can be found below.

71430 Penguin Family Snow Adventure Expansion Set ($19.99): This 228-piece set includes 3 Super Mario characters - a brick-built penguin, a baby penguin and a Goomba figure with a winter hat. There's also a buildable ice cave, an 'ice' slide that converts into a skating rink, 2 fish figures and a sled. Requires as LEGO Mario, Luigi, or Peach figure from a 71360, 71387 or 71403 Starter Course for interactive play. The set will be available at 12am ET on December 1st here at the LEGO Shop. LEGO Super Mario

LEGO and Nintendo have been partnering on sets for the last three years now. For the most part, the sets have focused on a Super Mario line that interacts with electronic figures such as Mario, Luigi, and Peach. The sets have adapted characters and locations from various games in the series, including New Super Mario Bros. U and Super Mario 3D World. Over the last few years, those sets have even expanded to focus on Mario-adjacent games, including Luigi's Mansion. In August, several sets based on the SNES Donkey Kong Country series were also released, adding characters like Donkey Kong, Diddy, Dixie, and Funky.

Mario fans subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online have received a rather unexpected free download. It's a great fall for Mario fans. Last month, they were treated to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, a game many are calling the best 2D Mario game in 30 years and a game that has left many Nintendo fans emotional. Meanwhile, out later this month is Super Mario RPG, which is sure to leave Nintendo fans in a similar emotional state with all its nostalgia. And if this wasn't enough for fans of Luigi's brother, WarioWare: Move It! is out today on Nintendo Switch. It's a busy time for Mario fans. And to accompany all of this there are some free downloads Mario fans won't want to miss.

The latest of Super Mario Bros. Wonder free Nintendo Switch Online player icons have been released. This isn't a surprise because they've been releasing icons from the game since its release and telegraphed there would be multiple waves. What's surprising is that these aren't the only free icons being given to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers this week. Between now and next Thursday, there are also icons from the new WarioWare game. In fact there will be three waves.

The new WarioWare game is more of a niche release, so the fact it's getting a three-wave run of Nintendo Switch Online icons is a bit surprising. What's more surprising though is it's happening alongside the Super Mario Bros. Wonder icons. It's not common for Nintendo to run this specific promotion for more than one game at the time.

If you're interested in downloading any of the icons below, you will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription and to splash some Platinum Points. Depending on what you're trying to claim, each download costs either five Platinum Points or ten Platinum Points.

The new Fortnite season, Chapter 4 Season OG, has brought back classic weapons, points of interests on the map, and cosmetics inspired by the earliest days of the battle royale game. Some of those skins that combine new and old concepts are in the Item Shop while others are in the OG season's battle pass. That pass is live now with players able to pick and choose which parts of it they want by spending their Battle Pass Stars on different cosmetics, and you've got from now until December 2nd to work through it and get what you want.

Most of the rewards in the Season OG battle pass are cosmetics like back blings, emotes, sprays, and other rewards, but there are a few skins to claim with your Battle Stars. Those skins have some alt styles, too, though those who kept up with leaks regarding the new season probably already saw some of those. Whether that's you or you stayed away from those kinds of leaks, we now know everything that's included in the battle pass now that the rewards are live.

Season OG Battle Pass Skins

The battle pass for this season of Fortnite has four main skins for players to unlock: Spectra Knight, Lil Split, Renegade Lynx, and Omegarok. The Spectra Knight skin is unlocked just by buying the season's battle pass, but you'll have to hit a season level of 8 for the Lil Split skin, 22 for Renegade Lynx, and 38 for Omegarok. Each of those main skins can be seen above.

Along with those core cosmetics in the battle pass, Lil Split, Renegade Lynx, and Omegarok all have different alternate styles with some of Lil Split's seen below to show what you can turn that skin into if you prefer one option over the default look. The Spectra Knight doesn't come with any battle pass alt styles because the skin itself has different customization options that you'll unlock through other means.

"This Outfit's an ultra-customizable knight with color, helmet, and Banner options honoring Red Knight, Black Knight, Ultima Knight, and more," an overview of the new Spectra Knight skin explained. "Complete Weekly Quests to unlock customization options for Spectra's helmet, pattern, and displayed Banner. The Spectra Knight Outfit, as well as its color options, are unlocked automatically with the OG Pass purchase."

While not part of the battle pass, it's also worth mentioning that the Red Knight skin has returned to the Item Shop for a limited time. This Legendary skin costs 2,000 V-Bucks, so prepare to drop quite a bit on it if you've been saving up your in-game money.

Like other Fortnite battle passes from before Season OG, this one will cost 950 V-Bucks with players able to recoup their expenses by progressing all the way through it since you can get up to 1,000 V-Bucks just by playing if you have the battle pass. The Season OG battle pass will end at exactly 10 p.m. ET on December 2nd, so you'll have until then to get what you want from it.

We may be getting even more Silent Hill remakes after Silent Hill 2. The Silent Hill series is one of gaming's most respected horror franchises out there alongside the likes of Resident Evil. It captured such a unique side of horror and made it specific to the gaming medium. It's horrifying, thoughtful, and incredibly fun to play, but unfortunately, Konami let it fall out of favor in the 2010s when it started to move away from console gaming and canceled Hideo Kojima's highly anticipated Silent Hills. Now, it's making a comeback with multiple new games and a remake of Silent Hill 2.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 is one of the most anticipated horror games on the horizon especially after all of the recent Resident Evil remakes and Dead Space. It may not be the only Silent Hill remake we get, however. As pointed out by VGC, a recent Konami earnings report suggested there may be more on the way. It could be a simple error, but if Konami is pleased with Bloober Team's work on Silent Hill 2 and also seeing the surge of remakes of classic games, it would not be surprising to see the publisher move to release more remakes.

"As for ongoing efforts, we are working diligently on Metal Gear Solid ?: Snake Eater, which faithfully recreates the story, characters, and game design of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most beloved entries in the Metal Gear series, and updates its graphical style to modern graphics for the current generation, as well as remakes and completely new entries in the Silent Hill series, which gained popularity as a psychological horror game."

As noted, Konami is also working on a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which recently got its first look. We're not quite sure how any of these will turn out, but given the high regard these games are held to, subpar remakes will not suffice. Either way, hopefully things turn out well and these brands can return to their former glory after years of being away.

Red Dead Redemption 2 actor Roger Clark says Rockstar Games' NDAs are even stricter than Marvel's. Over the last decade or so, working on major entertainment productions has become an incredibly secretive affair. Marvel and Star Wars are known for being some of the most secretive with the former reportedly not even telling all of the actors what the full story of the movie is. It can be a bit annoying, but it is all done to help maintain the secrecy of the films and ensure there are some surprises for fans when they go to see the movie. However, this has also become a thing in games, particularly ones from Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games.

The developer is known for having a major amount of secrecy, only choosing to share a handful of details in the lead up to its release. Sometimes fans are able to deduce which actors are playing certain characters by looking at the faces of the character model or listening to their voice, but often times the cast isn't officially revealed to the public until the game actually releases. With that said, Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark told the GLHF podcast that Rockstar Games' NDAs are stricter than Marvel's. The reason he knows this is because one of his co-stars, Benjamin Byron Davis, is friends with Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt. The two compared NDAs and came away with the conclusion that Rockstar is more strict with what actors can and can not say or do than Marvel.

Unfortunately, Clark didn't provide any specific examples where the differences lie. With that said, other Rockstar actors have spoken about this in the past. Some have even exiled themselves from social media during production to avoid any kind of slip-ups. Grand Theft Auto V actor Ned Luke told a story about how someone he knows in real life pointed out on social media that Luke was in the game when the first trailer was revealed and he had to scramble to get it deleted. So far, there haven't been any credible slip ups with the cast of Grand Theft Auto VI, as far as we know, but the game did suffer a pretty significant leak last year when Rockstar Games was hacked.

Week 8 in the NFL featured some great games and heartbreak for a few teams, most notably the Kansas City Chiefs who fell to the Denver Broncos for the first time in years. That said, the big winners of the weekend were the Cincinnati Bengals who pulled off a major coup by beating the San Francisco 49ers on the road. With both Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase getting +1 boosts this week, Cincinnati Bengals fans are sitting pretty. Madden NFL 24 Week 8's Biggest Fallers

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players are accusing the game of being an overpriced DLC as the new shooter begins to release. Call of Duty is one of the most established franchises in all of entertainment. It is consistently the best selling game every single year and often has a total stranglehold on the period it releases in, allowing it the opportunity to totally dominate. However, because it has been around for as long as it has been and also lures in such a massive audience, it also attracts a ton of criticism. Some of it is fair, some of it may be deemed as overblown, it really just boils down to which game is being put under the microscope. For well over a decade now, fans have accused Call of Duty being the same thing every single year and objectively speaking, that's not really true. Call of Duty has gone from modern warfare to space warfare to the far-future to World War II and even more. It's a pretty varied series that still maintains a formula.

However, this year is different. Modern Warfare 3 is the first time the franchise has ever done back to back sequels to a subfranchise like the Modern Warfare series and there were reports last fall that this began as an expansion to Modern Warfare 2. As Sledgehammer began talking about the new game, it was clear it would use Modern Warfare 2 as the foundation, even going as far as letting people carry over skins, weapons, and more to the new game. It was also confirmed that the game will feature maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 and later add maps from 2022's Modern Warfare 2 after launch.

Needless to say, some people felt like this was a glorified DLC. That has only continued as Modern Warfare 3 released its campaign today and it was very short, with some people beating it in 3 - 4 hours and complaining it felt like filler content. The trophy list for Modern Warfare 3 on PS5 also contains no Platinum trophy as it is listed as an add-on for Modern Warfare 2 (this is not the case on PS4). The reason for this is because Call of Duty has unified itself into one launcher with Modern Warfare 2 being the basis for that, so everything is connected into one hub app. You can see some reactions from fans below.

The campaign is extremely short for starters, hardly helps to meet the ?70 quota. And I know you're going to ramble about "but no one buys COD for the campaign!". Right yeah, it's agreeable. But the multiplayer stuff is hardly even worth the price.

Finished the campaign.....in 4 and a half hours.......very strange to consider this a "new" game.

MW3 campaign felt like DLC to me. It should've been DLC to MW2 and definitely cheaper. This one put a bad taste in my mouth for sure.

Of course, you'll have to make your own conclusions on this. Modern Warfare 3 does make some major changes to the gameplay that fans have been asking for, feature a new campaign, a new zombies mode, and more, so there is a difference. Whether you think that justifies itself as a $70 game is up to you, though.
